I decided to write this book after my dad Fergus passed away in February 2017 aged 80 .The book is dedicated to my Dad. He was a Piano Tuner, a kind gentleman, a friend , a teacher & above all my father.
The book follows his journey from being born and growing up in Rathmines , Drimnagh , Crumlin , The liberties Dublin. Then it’s follows him starting work, meeting Margaret his wife and his life tuning pianos across Ireland.
It explores the people he met and the places he traveled too. That’s are some funny moments with lovely tales about his clients.
Dad loved people so I thought it would be best to let some of our clients to contribute to this book. They chose to participate in this book by writing in their own words about their passion and love of the piano.
